BuildRight Innovations

How it works

Three roles.
One connected site.

BuildRight Innovations is built around how construction actually runs — Field Workers on the ground, a Superintendent running the site, and a Company Admin overseeing the business. Select a role to see how their day works.

Review absences and create the toolbox talk

The Superintendent's morning starts before anyone sets foot on site. Review pending absence requests, approve or decline with a reason, then create the day's toolbox talk and send it to the checked-in crew.

  • Absence review — approve with one tap or decline with an optional reason sent to the worker
  • Toolbox talk — minimum 3 safety points, sent to all checked-in crew with push notification
  • Live sign-off counter via Socket.io — watch acknowledgements come in as workers sign

Dashboard — full site visibility at a glance

Once the site day starts, the Superintendent's dashboard shows everything live — who's on site, who's absent, how many workers completed the huddle, task health, and site progress. 4 connectivity states handled gracefully.

  • KPI grid updates live via WebSocket — workers on site, absences, task health
  • Offline: amber banner, cached KPI snapshot — all core data readable
  • Activity feed shows every site event in real time — check-ins, notes, GPS alerts

Daily log, weather delay, and shout-outs

Before closing out the day, the Superintendent submits the daily site log — pre-filled with weather and crew data — and recognises standout workers. If there was a weather delay, it's documented as an immutable legal record.

  • Daily log auto-fills crew count and weather — Superintendent adds work summary and incidents
  • PM receives summary email via SendGrid on submission — offline logs queue and send on reconnect
  • Weather delay: Environment Canada MSC data auto-merged on reconnect
